Greyscale input to iridescence filter. Useful for oil stains. Includes .sbsar and .sbs
For quick use in painter, extract the .sbsar file to your shelf effect folder:

My substance painter says "[Effect Procedural View] Effect selected is not a substance file" when I try to load the filter.
@CyclonicTuna, did you extract the .sbsar from the .zip? If so, re-download and retry. If it's still broken I'll look into it.
Any way i can get this onto a smart material?

It's a filter, so you can apply it to a material, smart material, layer, fill layer, and so on. It just takes a greyscale input and applies a gradient to that.
not working for me. its transparent
I am having the same problem with it not showing up, will try re-downloading.
Is there any example of how to use it in substance designer? how to conect it to the other nodes to achieve the final effect in the preview. I can't get to it.
how do you use this in substance painter?
Thanks @Bek! For anyone struggling with the use you simply add it to your effect folder in Documents\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter\shelf , Then you can drag and drop it from your shelf (filter tab) in your layer stack as a stand alone layer. Will automatically create an empty layer and stack the filter under, Click on the filter and set it's channels to basecolor. Then you put under your newly created layer, any procedural map like the Galvanic grunges (they work well for that) and you are ready to tweak the params of the filter after that ;) ! you should reduce the opacity of the filter layer as well !
copy "br-iridescence-v1" to Substance Painter 2018\resources\shelf\allegorithmic\effects

Thank you for this!
does this work with the latest version? i apply the filter to a fill layer set to gray, it just turns everything blue. when i adjust the parameters it just alternates different colors. not sure what i'm missing here or if this still functions as it should in the latest. please advise. thanks!
