A simple implementation of a bilateral blur filter that smoothes edges under and retains edges over a specified intensity-difference-threshold. (Note for example the not-smoothed edges of the bright rotated square in the example image)
Sadly the implementation is very limited, because Substance Designer doesn't allow loops (or recursion) in the implementation, but for simple use-cases it may come in handy.

Thanks for this one. It's super useful. There is a way to make it up to 1000 samples with fluid progression in calculation time.
