Um, I thought this site was like a free version of the Database that was updated other users? I understand that this is like a perk for those who are in the Live Program, by the way great idea, but what about those of use who already own all three of your programs, B2M, Painter, and Designer. I already own the current versions of B2M and Painter, but the previous version of Designer. So for me going Live, I would end up buying software I already own. This is your baby, but I just wanted to give my two cents.

I agree with Jaws, it was disappointing to find out that I'd have to upgrade yet again after previously purchasing the Indie bundle with Painter, Designer, and B2M (which I upgraded a second time individually) to get the Live benefits. I know it's important to attract new customers, but it gets annoying when loyal customers aren't given the same deals.

That being said, I'm very grateful for this free content and to those who have shared their creations. Thanks for listening.

Monthly Drops are part of Substance Live since March 2015. If you have older versions of the software you can upgrade very easily to Substance Live either in full payment or in monthly payment.

Nicolas, I have SD5, SP, & B2M 3 (all Indie). On the Substance Live upgrade page on my account, there are no options to upgrade to get the Live perks, only options to upgrade to the Pro versions.

@gfx: you already have Substance Live as you have the 3 software, no need to upgrade to anything. And you can download all the items tagged as "Live Monthly Drops" on Substance Share. If you were not a Live user you wouldn't be able to download them.

Like Nicolas Liatti said, you can download these materials. But what I'm saying is that when I bought the beta indie version on Steam, I got the current version of Paint and B2M. But I have the last version of Designer so I'm out of the running for these materials. And at the moment I don't see any reason to go Live if I'm just buying the new version of Designer and the other two again. But I do have to say the plan is one of the best plans for any program in the industry.

@jaws3497: you can just upgrade to Substance Live for $50 (or 3 monthly payments of $19.90). You don't need to purchase everything again, we have a really fair upgrade path :)
Just contact us on the contact form of the website if you want more information about it.

I imagine that if you purchased all of the software and need someone to "flip the switch" to activate Live benefits, you could drop them a note on their contact form. They seemed to indicate that was the case when Live was first introduced. (I only needed to upgrade one software and was automatically changed over to Live when I did.)
