Masked Blend Max/Min blends two grayscale inputs with Max (Lighten) or Min (Darken) and creates a mask that displays the foreground and background areas according to the blending mode.
It works exactly like the Blend-Node, but provides four additional outputs:
- Mask Foreground - This output displays the area of the foreground input as a binary mask.
- Mask Background - This output displays the area of the background input as a binary mask.
- Blended Foreground - This output displays the area of the foreground input as a multiplied with the mask as a grayscale image.
- Blended Background - This output displays the area of the background input as a multiplied with the mask as a grayscale image.
This can be useful very useful, if you use it as a color mask to mask of the invisible areas of the background.
